March 31-April 2, 2017
at the Claymont Society Mansion, WV
The mind is a creature of patterns. It leaves tracks of anger and pride, compassion and bliss. Are you the one leaving these tracks, the observer of them, or something else entirely? Join the TAT Foundation for the incredible opportunity to meet and learn from experts in "Tracking the Mind."
Meet our presenters:
Shawn Pethel – A physics PhD with a passion for truth, Shawn was particularly fortunate to have worked with Daniel Ingram, whose advice gave him a final push into enlightenment.
Tess Hughes – Tess credits the teachings of Richard Rose and The TAT Foundation with bringing her decades long seeking to a final resolution, the awakening to her True Nature. She maintains a busy schedule of meetings and retreats in Ireland, and is the author of This Above All. Read more about Tess at TessHughes.com
Shawn Nevins – Author, poet and filmmaker who thinks the combination of creativity and direct looking at the mind is a potent tool for revealing Truth. See more at poetryinmotionfilms.com.
Additionally, there will be Group Inquiry and Rapport and Meditation Sittings
The registration deadline for the April Gathering is Sunday, March 26th.

9:45 to 10:00 AM – Welcome
10:00 to 11:00 AM – "Tracking the Mind - finding the compass reading for Home - Nostalgia" a session with Tess Hughes: Tess will share some ideas for how to recognise the inner compass that draws us in the direction of Home. Richard Rose used the term "nostalgia" which means the longing for home, as the drive implanted in us to return to our True Nature. Like the salmon that is instinctively drawn to leave its complacent feeding grounds in the ocean and make the arduous journey upriver to return to its birth place, we too have this innate longing in us to return to our home ground. In mythological literature this is referred to as "the call". Responding to "the call" is the work that the TAT Foundation facilitates.
11:00 to 11:15 AM – Break
11:15 to 11:45 AM – Q & A with Tess Hughes
11:45 to 12:00 PM – Break
12:00 to 1:15 PM – Potluck Lunch
1:15 to 3:00 PM – Group Inquiry: Through honest, open dialogue, we help one another clarify our understanding by turning away from untruths. Thus we turn from the illusion of life to Reality. Such questioning is at the core of Richard Rose's Albigen System.
3:00 to 3:30 PM – Free Time/Discussion
3:30 to 4:30 PM – "Openness and the Passion for Truth" a session with Paul Rezendes: What guides the animals of the forest? What guides a forest eco-system? Sometimes I call it the "Wild Within," something which is really no-thing and is non-cultivated, unconditioned and has no location, no plan, no authority or belief. I have to be with that during my "talk." I have nothing prepared. I have no idea what the "talk" will be about. Can we all meet in openness and in the passion for truth and see what comes up?
4:30 to 4:45 PM – Break
4:45 to 5:30 PM – Q & A with Paul Rezendes
5:30 to 5:45 PM – Break
5:45 to 7:00 PM – Potluck Dinner
7:00 to 8:15 PM – "Push-pull: Using opposing techniques for spiritual progress" a session with Shawn Pethel: The present-day seeker has a spectrum of spiritual "technologies" to sort through. Should we settle on one and stick to it, or is it better to jump around as the need arises? Of course, the answer depends on the seeker, but I have seen evidence on my path, and that of some others, that utilizing two contradictory techniques accelerates progress. In this session I want to share this "push-pull" strategy and open the floor for audience feedback.
8:15 to 8:30 PM – Break
8:30 PM to 9:00 PM – Rapport Sitting with Paul Constant: The purpose of a group rapport sitting is to transcend personal, ego-centric consciousness. It is Satsang with the silent, inner guru that is present in everyone – yet hidden behind the ceaseless chatter of the ego and the glare of sensory experience. It is the meaning of the saying: "Where two or more are gathered in my name, there I am present."

event location. Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please allow up to 5

Meals
Meals are potluck style for Saturday and Sunday continental breakfasts, Saturday

What is the TAT Foundation?
A group encouraging people to think rather than believe. A group determined to help people
find ways and means to answer their deepest philosophical questions. A gathering of friends who are not afraid to be honest with one another. An island of hope and
sanity (or at least the hope for sanity!). Last, but not least, TAT is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization chartered in 1973.
