TAT FOUNDATION

The TAT Foundation (TAT) has adopted this privacy policy with recognition that protecting the privacy and security of the personal information TAT obtains about you, our friends and visitors, is a responsibility. Recognizing that you expect to access content or register for events, TAT may collect and maintain certain personal information about you and wants you to know what information is collected and how TAT uses and safeguards that information.

Information TAT Collects: TAT collects certain information about you that may be non-public (“Private Information”). The essential purpose for collecting Private Information is to allow TAT to provide content and offer information, books, and meeting opportunities to you. Private Information TAT collects may include, for example:

• Information you provide on applications, registrations, subscriptions, requests or other forms.
• Identifying information such as your name, age, address, email, etc.
• Information about your transactions with TAT.

Security of Your Information: TAT restricts access to your Private Information to those TAT members who need to know that information to process payments, memberships, track registrations for meetings, sales of books, subscriptions and other interests in philosophy, psychology, religion, retreats, related publications and on-line content as represented by your interaction with the TAT website, TAT members, officers, other volunteers with TAT, and licensors of TAT. TAT maintains reasonable safeguards to comply with applicable federal or state standards protecting your Private Information.

Information TAT Discloses: TAT does not disclose the Private Information it collects to anyone except (i) as necessary to further your membership, applications, registrations, purchases, subscriptions, requests, and the like; (ii) TAT’s attorneys, accountants, and auditors; or (iii) as otherwise provided by law or regulation.

TAT is permitted by law to disclose the Private Information about you to third parties in certain circumstances for administrative purposes, by way of example and not limitation computer back-up services, website use and statistics, and such third parties are prohibited to use or share the information for any other purpose.

Changes to the TAT Privacy Policy: TAT reserves the right to make material changes to TAT’s privacy policy regarding how TAT uses your Private Information without notice, and such changes will be reflected in an updated Privacy Notice.
