December 2024 TAT Talk with Jerry Wennstrom
Sunday December 15th, from 12pm – 1:30 PM ET – check your timezone here.
TAT Talks is an online event created to both inspire spiritual seekers and to share and preserve Richard Rose’s teachings. Guest speakers feature those who worked with Rose personally and were influenced by his approach to finding the answers to life’s biggest questions, and those who have come into contact with the TAT Foundation, the organization Mr. Rose founded.
Join us online for a 90 minute conversation and interactive discussion as we seek true self-knowledge through self-examination. The virtual event is being offered for a minimal fee of $5. If possible, please consider donating a larger amount (there are multiple payment options when registering). Your generosity will help defray the many costs incurred in preparing the new TAT Center. We deeply appreciate your support! Please register to receive Zoom details.
In 1979 Jerry Wennstrom was a rising star in the New York art world when he let go of his identity as an artist by intentionally destroying his large body of art and giving away his money and all his possessions. With this leap of faith, he embarked on a 15 year journey listening, seeking, relying on intuition and unconditional trust to guide and provide for him. After settling on Whidbey Island, WA, and marrying his muse Marilyn Strong, Wennstrom has since created a large new body of art. These thirty large, archetypal interactive sculptures are both humorous and deeply meaningful. Jerry Wennstrom is also the author of “The Inspired Heart: An Artist’s Journey of Transformation” (2000) and is the subject of Parabola and Sentient Publications documentary video, “In the Hands of Alchemy” (2002). In 2018, Wennstrom stopped carving and devoted his months to the creation of an all-inclusive 248-page hardcover coffee table book, “A Second Wind: Art Resurrected” (Pomegranate Seed Productions, 2022). You can listen to his 2018 interview with Shawn Nevins on the Journals of Spiritual Discovery podcast here. Wennstrom’s book “A Second Wind, Reimagined” was recently revised and republished by Sentient Publications.
