TAT Fall Workshop 2009

Doorways to Change

reflection of window light

There are some spiritual doorways you go through that don't seem to change you, while others do … changing your perspective so substantially that you may not recognize your new self. There is also one Essential doorway that inconceivably changes you … but where you recognize this new self as what you have, truly, always been.

Each session in this workshop is a potential doorway, as is the time conversing with other sincere seekers between sessions. Or the workshop may prepare you for going through the doorway when it appears, or when you perceive it, after the weekend is over. The weekend itself is an unusual doorway, allowing you to meet with friends and spiritual seekers and with some who have been through the doorway in the mind that brings us back Home.

The 2009 TAT Fall Workshop will be held over the Labor Day weekend, Friday, September 4th through Sunday, September 6th. It begins with a standalone session on Friday evening for those who can arrive early. On Saturday participants split into small groups for two interactive workshops (see details), coming back together for other activities. Participants again split into groups for a third workshop on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon wraps up the structured time with friendly feedback by and for all participants. Free time for informal talking, optional yoga or tai chi, and other activities is scheduled for both afternoons, as is a before-dinner rapport sitting. Sunday evening allows for unstructured time and sessions to develop spontaneously. Registration deadline is Friday, August 28th.

What Is the TAT Foundation?

A group encouraging people to think rather than believe. A group determined to help people find ways and means to answer their deepest philosophical questions. A gathering of folks who are not afraid to be honest with one another. An island of hope and sanity (or at least the hope for sanity!). Last, but not least, TAT is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit educational organization chartered in 1973.
