Accommodations within 25 miles
of the TAT Foundation's Retreat Center
At the retreat center, participants may pitch tents or stay in rustic bunkhouse accommodations (bring your own bedding). Bunkhouse beds are available on a first-come basis. Bathroom facilities are located in a nearby building (bring your towels and toiletries).
The Super 8 Motel on 2400 National Road in Elm Grove is approximately 15 miles from the TAT retreat center, and driving time is about half an hour. Moundsville/Glen Dale locations are about the same distance with similar driving time over a different route. Other locations are 5 to 10 miles farther away, with driving time of about 45 minutes.
Cabins at Grand Vue Park provide another option, which is to share lodging. The most versatile choice involves 4-bedroom ("standard") cabins that sleep 12 and rent for $250 + tax for the weekend (Friday and Saturday nights). Rates vary for cottages, the Eagle house, and new ("deluxe") cabins. Weekly rentals are available. Driving time to the TAT center is about 20 minutes (10 miles).
